Introducing Casa Rayos Tequila from Brewdog Distilling CO.

Brewdog is back with a new drink for you to enjoy this February… And it’s not a new beer! (did you try their recent blend with Grind?) Brewdog has teamed up with the Ordendain family to create a delicious Blanco tequila, a blend of over 12 varieties from both copper pot and stainless steel distillation.

Their new tequila, Casa Rayos is 100% Blue Weber Agave Tequila, loaded with lime and orange citrus zest, underpinned by spicy cracked black pepper, pink peppercorn and an earthy component typical of the region in which the agave has been grown.

The cool new bottle – which I am a big fan of – will sit lovely on a drinks trolley and would be great as a candle holder once finished. The design of the bottle is a tribute to the agave plant, the leaves shaped around the bottle.

Crafted with a lot of care and attention, this Casa Rayos Tequila from Brewdog has plenty of flavours and is lovely and smooth, allowing it to be enjoyed neat over ice – I would recommend large cubes or spheres! Enhance your cocktails by mixing this tequila into a Margarita or Paloma.

Brewdog’s Casa Rayos Tequila is priced at £41.99 and is available to purchase from their website. Alternatively, you can purchase from one of the 72 BrewDog Bars which are dotted around the UK. On BrewDog’s website, you’ll also find a delicious range of craft beers to try as well as a selection of other spirits including Vodka and Gin.

Have have had a chance to try Casa Rayos Tequila by Brewdog? – What are your thoughts and will you be buying another bottle? Will you be ordering this new tequila and will you be enjoying it neat or within a cocktail? Are there any new tequilas that you would recommend? Let me know in the comment box below.
